Maple Bench

Maple Bench The trail passes small Coldwater Lake before climbing steeply up switchbacks to Stewart Pass. The trail turns south and follows the narrow ridge 1.5 miles to Wellsville Cone (9,350'). You can keep going another .4 miles to Box Elder Peak (9,375'), the highest point in the range.
