Oscar Swett Ranch
|
Sixteen year old Oscar Swett began to build a ranch on his homestead in 1909. He married in 1912 and raised a family and worked the ranch until his death in 1968. The ranch, including a house, several cabins, workshops/sheds, etc., and the equipment used to work it have been preserved and provide an idea of what homestead life in a remote area was like.
