Description
Snow Canyon State Park offers a nice scenic drive and some short hikes through some fine red sandstone cliffs, twisted rock layers and lava flows. It doesn't compare to the outstanding national parks in the area, Zion and Bryce Canyon, but it is attractive and provides a quiet and pleasant way to spend some time.Snow Canyon is located on Hwy 18 about 10 miles northwest of St. George.
