Thornton Hollow

The Thornton Hollow trail is an out-and-back trail that branches off Daniels Canyon and climbs to the ridge. A tiny stream follows Thornton Hollow and can be rolling in Spring. This scenic trail crosses grassy meadows and aspen groves, and offers beautiful views from the ridge.

The three miles one-way and the continuous climb to the ridge make this a moderate hike.

The trailhead is well-signed and located 12 miles southeast of Heber City on US Hwy 40. Parking is limited along the highway.
