Shram Creek Loop

The climbing in Payson Canyon is a little intense, but the ride isn't too difficult (other than aerobically). Shram Creek is a little boggy and, since its lined with any number of small creeks, wet.


 The Basics

Location: Payson Canyon, south of Provo
Technical Difficulty: Intermediate
Length: 8.7 mile loop
Season: June - October


 Directions to Trailhead

From I-15, take the Payson exit (250). Turn left on U-115, drive to the traffic light at 100 North, turn left. Turn left on 600 East. From here, drive 9.1 miles up Nebo Loop Road. You'll approach a cattleguard. Look for a dirt road to your right.
