The Moki Dugway

This route provides some excellent scenery and some nice overlooks, but it is not for those who are afraid of heights. There is a section with 1100 foot drop-offs and a 10% grade. (Vehicles over 10,000 lbs are prohibited.)

Location: Hwy 261 from Mexican Hat to Hwy 95 in Southeastern Utah
Setting: Desert
Surface: Paved with a 3 mile section of graded gravel
Vehicle: Passenger Car
Length: 37 miles oneway
Time to Allow: 1 hour
Season: Drivable year round
