Escape Goats Tours and Shuttle Service is a permitted outfitter and guide service for the Escalante Grand Staircase National Monument area, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, and the Dixie National Forest. We guide day and evening hikes, multi day adventure trips, and custom family tours. In addition to hiking and camping trips, we offer a hiker shuttle service based out of the Escalante, Utah area. So, why pack goats? Goats were one of the first domesticated animals. Goats enjoy hiking and accept their pack with little training. Goats are naturally calm and friendly and are very alert to their surroundings. Other wildlife seems curious about the goats and quite often let you approach closer than usual. Senior citizens or people with injuries that prevent them from carrying a pack can once again enjoy the outdoors.
