Description

Red Cliffs is a pretty BLM campground set in an extremely attractive red rock canyon along the seasonal Quail Creek. It is a few miles past Quail Creek State Park just west of I-15.

Campsites are reservation only and must be made either by calling 1-877-444-6777, or visiting Recreation.gov. Reservations cannot be made or paid for at site.

Access to the campground is through tunnels that restrict vehicle size to less than 12 feet in height or width.

Basic Directions

Take Interstate 15 north from St. George, Utah, to Exit 22. At the end of the freeway off-ramp, turn right onto the frontage road. Travel approximately 2 miles and turn right after passing the sign for the Red Cliffs Recreation Area. Proceed under two freeway tunnels and follow the paved road into the campground.
