Abajo Mountains - X-Country Skiing

The Abajos get plenty of snow. While no trails are groomed, the unplowed forest service roads through the range provide good opportunities for cross-country skiing. The main access road from Monticello, Forest Route 105., is plowed up to Dalton Springs Campground.
