The Tushars get plenty of snow during the winter creating great riding opportunities. There is riding to be had along Kent Lake Loop Road (FS Route 137), Big John Flat Road (FS Route 123) and the dirt portion of Hwy 153 between Elk Meadows and the town of Junction on the east side of the range. Along these roadway trails are open riding areas.

Hwy. 153 is plowed up to Elk Meadows providing access from Beaver. Beaver has full services for riders.
