Tushar Mountains - Hiking

Great Rates and Location
Great Rates and Location

There are plenty of good hiking opportunities in the Tushar Mountains. Both day hikes and overnighters are available. Descriptions of a few options are described below. You'll want to supplement these brief descriptions with information from the Beaver Forest Service office (435-438-2436).

Delano Peak Difficult
8.5 mile roundtrip 6 to 7 hours
At 12,173 feet Delano Peak is the tallest point in the Tushar Mountains. Along the route, which is mostly above the timberline, you'll have great views out over southern Utah and the Tushar Range.
