There are two ways to return to the trailhead from Double O Arch. You can simply retrace your steps to the trailhead (2 miles) or follow a difficult "primitive" trail through Fin Canyon that loops back to Landscape Arch. Along the primitive trail is a short side trail to Private Arch. Taking this route back adds 1 mile to the return trip.
