 Directions

West side of Big Sand Wash reservoir on Hwy 87, once you are there look for the large “Six Lakes” sign. If you are not familiar with the area, follow the directions. below:

Depart Vernal or Roosevelt on Hwy 40 traveling west…continue on Hwy 40 until just west of Roosevelt… turn right onto Hwy 87 (also called Ioka Lane)…continue on Hwy 87 through the town of Upalco and just past Big Sand Wash Reservoir until you see a large “Six Lakes” sign (coming soon) on the right side of the road (do not turn at 250 N, keep going north about ¾ of a mile)… turn right on the dirt road at the sign…stay to the right on the dirt road (the left fork is a private drive)… after approx. ½ mile you will come to a fork in the road…turn left (North) at this junction to go to the cabins and right to go to the campground parking lot. You will notice small road signs along the way once you are inside the Six Lakes boundaries.
