Description
The Yellow Pine Trail begins at Slate Creek, crosses over to Yellow Pine Creek, and climbs the Yellow Pine drainage. The first part of the trail follows an old road which leaves the main trial and turns east shortly after entering the Yellow Pine drainage. The old road is packed for snowshoers and hikers and is not recommended for skiers. The main trail to the head of the drainage is very steep, narrow, unmaintained, and recommended for advanced users only.Setting:
