  • Brian Head

Brian Head is a small resort town 9,850 feet up in the pretty, heavily forested Markagunt Plateau. In winter visitors come to enjoy Brian Head Ski Resort; in summer they tackle the highlands mountain biking and hiking. A few miles from Brian Head is Cedar Breaks National Monument.

  • Brian Head Resort

Brain Head Resort sees an annual average snowfall of over 400 inches and generally sees very few people to enjoy it. Ongoing expansions will add an additional couple hundred acres of skiable terrain for your skiing pleasure.

  • Cedar City

Cedar City is a mid-size city along I-15 just east of the Markagunt Plateau. It serves as a base for those exploring the plateau and as a more distant base for those visiting Bryce Canyon and Zion national parks. In late summer the city hosts a very popular Shakespeare Festival.

  • Provo

Provo is Utah's third largest city. It is a clean, pleasant city situated between the Wasatch Mountains and Utah Lake. It is home to Brigham Young University, the largest church affiliated university in the country. The mountains surrounding Provo provide good hiking, mountain biking and fishing opportunities among beautiful alpine scenery. Also nearby are Timpanogos Cave National Monument and pretty Sundance Ski Resort.

  • Tushar Mountains

The Tushar Mountains are a pretty range with a good network of hiking and biking trails, campgrounds and small lakes. Though the Tushars exceed the height of the Wasatch Mountains in Northern Utah, they remain under appreciated and relatively uncrowded. Adjacent to the range along I-15 is the pleasant little town of Beaver.

  • Marysvale - Paiute Trail

Marysvale is a small Utah town located at the crossroads of the famous Paiute ATV Trail. This trail is a 275-mile loop winding through mountain tops, vast forests, and several small towns, offering a never ending supply of natural scenery. The numerous side trails connected to main route total almost 2200 miles. Initially a mining town, Marysvale now acts as the main trailhead to the Paiute Trail system and as a hub to the many recreational activities in the area.

  • Fillmore

Fillmore is a central Utah town located on I-15 north of Beaver, and south of Nephi. The town is a way station for those traveling the vast stretches of sagebrush and foothills along the north-south interstate highway. Through part of the 1850’s, Fillmore acted as the capital of the Utah Territory. The original Utah Territorial Statehouse is standing today.
